Home Is Safe

Home is safe. Where you go to the fridge or ask for snacks, or to lay on the couch to relax. Put on socks when they don't even match. Playing and being silly with siblings and friends. Home is a safe place to share your feelings where you do something without getting judged. Home isn't just a building, it could be a special place that's in your heart like school or in a library. Home is anywhere you believe for me home is at my grandparents house at their apple orchard with my family. Home doesn't have to be with your family. It's where your heart feels safe. Everyone deserves an environment to feel safe and to feel welcome.
