Seasons of Home

Home is my family gathering, around refreshing lemonade. Home is spraying the hose wildly, trying to cool down from the intense heat. Home is stirring up new fruit salads. Home is dripping popsicle juice, everywhere. Home is like stepping on the warmth of golden sand, always enjoyable. Home is roasting the perfect marshmallows, around the campfire. Home is apple picking, bringing my family together. Home is creative baking with my mom. Home is festive backyard scavenger hunts. Home is biking through natural trails, with my three siblings. Home is my family huddling, around the warm flickering fire. Home is slurping on savory hot chocolate. Home is sledding down steep stairs covered in powdered snow. Home is the magic of Christmas, coming to life. Home is holiday movies, playing on repeat. Home is carefully picked flowers, fresh from the new blooming garden. Home is the sound of birds, chirping in harmony. Home is jumping nonstop on the ageing trampoline, enjoying every precious moment. Home is racing down the stairs, to find the most Easter eggs. Home is a party, always vibrant and fun. As you can now see, with joy and glee, my home is safe and secure, all the pure. I’ll always be welcome, no matter who I've become, because family is forever, and it's for the better. Home is more than just a house; it's all the love and passion, created by family inside it, that really matters.
