The moment I step through the front door I feel…

The moment I step through the front door I feel… The moment I walk in my house I feel happiness and safety. My parents love me and they make sure I am ok everyday before school. I feel like I belong there and loved like I am queen, I know I won't be judged and I can walk around feeling like I am myself. And no one can tell me otherwise. They show that they love me, they give me hugs and kisses, and they also ask how my day was. And they feed me well so I can tell that I'm not hated and they do everything for me. I feel safe because my dad always makes sure I am tucked in my bed and he checks on me at night. Also my mom gives me hugs and kisses before I go to bed and my dad always is up at night making sure we are all warm in bed and he tries to let us do what we want as long as it is safe. I feel like I matter in my family and that I get good food and I am always called nice in my family when I ask for something like to drive a skidoo. I usually get to do that thing. And in my opinion I think my family is the best in the whole world. ❤️ I am very lucky to have a family that loves me and cares about me. I'm grateful to have a home and one that is clean and safe to sleep in and I love my family. By: Jessa Brown. Grade:6 class Twillingate Island Elementary.
