Home Sweet Home

Home is a place where you can feel safe and happy. It feels safe, because it is the place you grew up in. When you are up stairs or down stairs you can hear the fire crackling in the fireplace. When you are in your cozy bed and snuggled in your blankets, you are amazed watching the rain fall down on the ground. You are happy that you are not in that bad weather, trying to warm up outside. When it is supper time you can smell the food cooking in the oven and you can picture it in your mind, biting into your pizza and saying thank you for this very good meal. It is a very safe place and it makes me feel protected and cozy. When I am sleeping I know my family is out there and that makes me feel guarded. It makes me feel like I am enough. When I wake up in the morning I get filled with hugs and get asked how my sleep was by Mom and Dad. In the morning I ask for some nice goldfish and a drink to top it off, it is delicious. My home is gray with white doors. My room is very cozy and snuggled and very warm but sometimes it is cold in my room. Around Christmas time, all of my cousins come to my house or Grandma and Grandpa's and it feels so nice to know my house is filled with my family members. Cuddling on the couch, watching the Winter Olympics, eating chips and a drink yelling and having fun watching it. In the morning, on Christmas Day right when I wake I head to my stocking and when I am done I have to wait for my older brother Keagan to wake up.Then I get right to work and I get so happy and saying thank you for these gifts to Mom, Dad and Keagan. I am very lucky to have this loving family. I have a question for whoever is reading this: what does your home mean to you?
