Why home is a special place for me

Home is not just a building, it's a special place where I can be myself, get love and have company. When I get off the bus I see my dad and I get happy because I know I am safe. We walk back home laughing, sharing what happened at school and having fun. When we get home the first thing I hear is my mom greeting me with a warm hug and a hello. I feel the heater and smell the crispy, cheesy pizza that makes me feel so comfortable and safe. When we get to the table we pray, laugh, eat, share stories and enjoy our pizza. When we finish eating I go to my bedroom and I cuddle my pillow in my bed. Whenever I am in my room I feel protected, safe, and comfortable. After sleeping, watching tv or playing I walk to my living room and invite my family to a fun game of snakes and ladders. We laugh while playing, make horrible jokes and enjoy our family bonding time. Afterwards, we share about what we could do tomorrow. After everyone is done eating my dad goes to work, we say goodbye and go to bed. We read bedtime stories, watch tv and get comfortable. We pray and hope for the best day tomorrow. Home is a special place because it's where you can be yourself and have people who love you. Homes have memories, people who love you and fresh food waiting for you. It is also where you grow up, experience your childhood and have memories. Finally, home is the special place where you become mature, smart, polite, and you learn what life truly is about. I strongly believe that home is built with love, warmth, and is full of memories about your life.
