My True Meaning Of Home

Home is not just a structure with furniture and belongings, home is a place where I can be me and you could be you, where you could express yourself. To me home is a universal symbol of comfort, love and safety, picture it like a shield that protects you from all the horrors in the outside world. As I began to grow older, life at home began to change. When my younger brother was born, home became unfamiliar with what I was used to, my parents were frequently with my little brother. That taught me responsibility of adjusting to new situations, and also when my other brother was born in the exact same situation. While my home changed, I still had a place that will always be there for me. Every corner in my house has a memory whether it's in the bedroom, the living room or even the bathroom. The point is that home is a place full of great things that’ll stay with you throughout your whole life. These memories make my home more special and unique. Home will always be a place for whenever I'm done I'll have someplace to come back to. The point is not everyone is fortunate enough to have a safe comfortable place to live. Some families struggle to get a roof over their heads. I believe that Habitat Humanities is an organization that helps build homes for people and create better futures for families. Everybody should be grateful for what you have because clearly many people aren't as fortunate as you.
