What Home Means to Me
Home is not just a bunch of wood, stone, and glass, it’s a safe, joyful place that protects me from the world. To me home is where I eat and sleep. Also where my dog, and family are, and where my Nintendo Switch is. In the morning at like, eight o'clock, I wake up and hear my sisters leaving for school. I always get up, get dressed and take my dog outside, then I just play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, until I need to leave for school.
When I get home after school I go outside and play with my friends. I go home later and eat supper with my family and clean up afterwards. Then I see if my friends can play flash light tag. We always play pretty late and then later I have to go to bed. In bed I read until really late. Finally my mom has to come in and stop me from reading.
So home is really better than any other place, because to me, any other place (other than my house and Playdium) is a lump of wood, and rock. So if there is anything happening outside that sucks, home makes me and most other people feel safer.
