What Home Means To Me

Rooms that we have in our house. First, we have our kitchen, where we eat food and cook. I love to cook steaks. Then there is the living room, that is where we play board games and express ourselves with emotions, and watch sports on the TV. Me and my dad love the Blue Jays. Also, in our home we have a room where me and my brother play horror games together, and scream like the birds outside. Then there is the basement, our cat is usually down there. We also do baseball stuff like sponge balls. We can hit baseballs off the tee and into the net that we have down there. The upstairs is where we sleep, and get ready in the mornings. I walk into my home with my brother after a tiring day of school and instantly hear Rey barking, she scampers over to us. “Hi Rey, why are you eating mom’s slippers again?” She just wants us to pet her so we do. ”We should get a snack. ”Suggests my brother,”Sure,” I reply, "You're so short,” says my brother randomly, for the 10th time today. “No I’m not” I reply with a hint of annoyance, we both know that our home is especially special. I come down the stairs on a Saturday morning and smell the beauty of the bacon, eggs, and ham, I feel the cold smoothie slipping down my throat. I taste the soft and rendered ham crunching with juicyness, I see my mom at the stove looking down at her masterpiece, and my siblings playing games. I feel excited when I hear my dad say “Ivey, we are going golfing today.” And that is all the feelings and things in my home.
