What Home Means to me

To me home means family, family means love, and love always feels good. Home is where the heart is, and the heart will always be there, even if you moved to a different house the home will always be in your heart. Home is where your best memories are made, it’s when you’re with your favourite people, the people who make you laugh, the people who cheer you up when you’re sad, the people who are there for you when you need it most. To me home means family, and family is everything. Home isn’t just family, it’s the rooms inside it and what you make out of them. My bedroom is my quiet space, the place I go to get away from all the loud noises and drown out all my bad feelings and thoughts. My parent’s bedroom is my safe space, the place I go to when my bedroom just won’t work, where I go to cuddle up by my mom’s side. The kitchen is my hungry space, when I’m hungry there’s always snacks for me. The living room is my comfy space, the place we cuddle up and watch a family movie and play games. The kitchen table is my cheerful space, its where we have our best laughs and eat the most delicious food! My home is full of chaos and laughter, and I like to find the best out of that and embrace it, and I hope everyone else does too!
