What Home Means to Me

For me home means a place where I can feel calm and relaxed. When I get home from school I like to go to my room to relax from the day I had at school. My parents are a big part of what home means to me. When I feel angry, sad, or anxious, my parents can help comfort me until I’m calmer. If my parents tell me to do my homework, I can do it calmly while listening to music. Something that’s special to me is my elephant stuffie named Phanpy. If I feel scared in the night, I hug Phanpy and then I feel calm and safe. Home is also a place where I can be myself without anyone judging me. Even if our homes sound different I love my home a lot, and I hope that’s the same for everyone else!
