Home Is Always With Me

People think a house is just a building, but I think it's a spooky place where no one wants to live. A home is full of colorful pictures, and decorations that make everything feel just right. It's filled with unforgettable memories; of you and your family's love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and goodness. You and your family smell and hear the crackle of your mom and dad cooking and baking, which will always make your bad day turn around into a good day. Your home is a safe place. The one place you and your family feel safe and get cared for. Unlike an empty house, which is empty and sad, there's no one to care for you in a house. Our home is where your family is. It's where you grow and learn in your faith. Sometimes it's hard to know where your house is. There is only one place where my house is, it’s where my heart is. It goes with me everywhere to school or vacation. On bad days and good days it's always with me, day and night. At night the coziest hug always surrounds me and it makes me feel warm and it always fills me with love. Home is a place of memories where family and friends celebrate birthdays, holidays, and fun activities together.
