What Home Means To Me

In my opinion home means somewhere I feel safe and secure. Home doesn’t have to be blood, it can be friends or pets, it can be a lot of different things, it’s where you feel safe, secure, welcome, and loved. Home to different people means different things, it can mean loved ones, places, pets, or even things. Home holds memories. Home is a place where not just me but everybody feels welcome and like they belong. Some people say that house and home are the same thing but they aren't. A house is just a place you live in but home is somewhere you are safe and where you feel like there's a nice cozy blanket on you. Like most people I love my home. That's because the people who live there (and the pets) make me feel safe and welcomed as well as loved. My home reminds me of good memories. Home can be whatever your heart wants it to be. And that is what home means to me.
