The meaning of home

The meaning of home to me is my family, which consists of my parents and my sister, because whenever I need them they are always there for me and no matter what. My pets are also home to me because whenever I feel sad or disappointed they make me feel better. Home is not a place I live or sleep in , it is a feeling of love and belonging, where we respect our elders and values given to us. Home is where I enter and smell delicious cooked food by my mother with love. Sounds of laughter with my family and my sister fills my day with happiness. Home is where anything happening in the outside world doesn't affect me and makes me feel protected and safe. My family culture and traditions keep me occupied and attached to my roots. Home is where things are done together no matter what the day ,time or situation is like we celebrate festivals ,good things ,sit and talk about ups and downs that happen in our day to day life. I learn a lot from my parents and grandparents and my sister keeps the home bright with her jokes and laughter .Home is where prayers are done and are heard and we all believe in kindness and being thankful of what we have as it makes our life easier as compared to complaining. Home is a place with 4 walls and in between I truly believe lies all of our hearts and souls like a body with heart and soul. My parents and sister are the most important part of my home and I pray each day for gods blessings and his grace to be on me and my family which is HOME to me.
