Home if it was just one part

If home was just a bedroom, It would be where I have the sweetest dreams in the comfy bed that I sleep in when it is night. But home is more than just the bedroom. If home was just a kitchen, It would be me and my mom, cooking and taste testing the yummy food that we would eat if we had a dining room. But home is more than just a kitchen. If home was just the dining room, It would be me and my family eating the delectable food we would make if we had a kitchen and sharing what happened in our day. But home is more than just a dining room. If home was just a living room, It would be me and my family, playing games, watching TV, sharing our day, and having the funnest times ever. But home is more than just a living room. If home was just a backyard, It would be my sister and I, playing badminton, or drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows if it’s winter. But home is more than just a backyard. Home is all of these parts together, and when these parts are together, they are more than just these parts together. It is where we tell each other about our feelings, share ideas, and help each other. It is where our roof protects us from rain, hail, and snow. But unfortunately, not everyone has a home. I am thankful for Habitat For Humanity because it eats away the lack of home in over 70 countries, chipping it away month by month. They make getting a home easier. If the lack of home was the villain of a story, then Habitat for humanity would be the hero.
