What Home Means to Me

Home is a place where I feel loved, safe, and cozy. It’s also somewhere where my family comforts me after a tiring day at school. Home is somewhere where my family and I talk for hours, talking about our days. Home is where we play board games and watch movies. Home is where I smell the sweet smell of cinnamon drifting slowly through the air. Home is where I play with my puppies and play tug-of-war with them. Home is where we bake Bannock in the kitchen. Home is where I wake up to the sun rising in the morning. Home is where we make hot chocolate in winter and watch The Christmas Chronicles one and two. Then there is my bedroom, which feels like a warm, cozy blanket wrapped around me.
