Home is My Happy Place

Home is the place where I can come after a hard day with a warm meal waiting for me, at our long table where we sit every night. The living room is where we settle down in the evening and share stories about the day. When I feel sad or scared, I can always go to my corner of the room that I share with my two brothers. My corner is small and cosy and always is my safe place to go. Outside my brothers and I make everlasting memories, some good and some not so good, from basketball to mud fights. Even though we have fights and disputes, we always have a good time. A home isn't just a building with walls and a roof, it's a place that will always be safe and warm. Our house is old and my parents jokingly say that love is the only thing holding our house together. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for providing not a house but a home for the people who need it most.
