Meaning of Home
My home is a special feeling. My home is about the people inside, memories made, and where I feel safe. My home is about the pictures on the walls. The pictures are like snapshots of the best days of your life, special moments, and regular days that become memorable. Home makes you feel loved, hope, comfort, reassurance, and much more. Home is where I find hugs, encouragement, and love. Home has a variety of smells, like delicious home cooked meals, light lavender from the washing machine, gross mud from the worn-out shoes, and the sweet aroma from candles. Home is where I play games and watch movies with family and friends. I always look forward to sitting at the special dinner table, eating appetizing meals, and sharing exciting stories around the table. Home is a place that I can come to when I am feeling strong emotions. At home, I can hear dogs barking loudly, family members talking, birds chirping a lovely melody, cars driving on the road, and loads of other noises. At home I feel things money cannot buy. I feel love, laughter and the feeling of being a part of a family. I see my family, pictures on the walls, my toys, and so, so much more. Home is a cozy hug that wraps around me all the time. In my living room, we play games and laugh together. Home is where I grow up, learn new things, and live my life. The kitchen has mystical smells that can make you drool. In my bedroom, I have cool posters on the wall, my closet filled with old toys, my comfy bed holds all of my blankets, also, my dresser contains all of my favorite clothes. A house is a building, a home is a feeling.
