My home, My Soul, My Identity

When I think about my HOME, I get the feeling of comfort, loved, warmth, relaxed and so on…I believe it is special for everyone. I cannot imagine how it would feel without home. I am so GRATEFUL that I have a special home where I make memories, share feelings like happiness, anger, surprised, sad, proud, disgusted, and loved and safe and protected. I have so many memories in this house like me growing up, walking and talking. My favorite memory was when I said I DON’T want to go to island when we were actually going and we have a video about it. My family watched this video and we laughed together. Also, I love to celebrate my favorite festivals like Diwali and Halloween and of course our birthday parties. To me sharing feelings inside my home is being loved by my family. I love my mom because of her warm and cozy hugs. Every time I come downstairs from sleeping my mom comes and gives me her one and only warm and cozy hugs. AND, my big brother, he is the most annoying person in the world. His favourite thing to do is to annoy me, but I still love him as he helps with all the stuff like walking me to the school bus, playing with me …I LOVE HIM! I love my dad as well, but he always makes me do math! I am safe and protected. I cannot wait to go home when I am on trip because going home is the best feeling ever! Thank you, The Habitat of Humanity, for helping making home for homeless people and I am happy they are going to enjoy of having their very own home!
