Home to Me is Just the Things I Love

Home to me is just the things I love. Firstly, watching movies with my family makes me feel safe. When I feel bored, I watch an intriguing mystery that makes me excited again. With my family, we snuggle up on the couch and it makes me feel safe. When I have my friends over, we laugh at a silly movie together at my house. Secondly, cooking and Baking makes me feel love. When I bake at home with my mom, I feel happy and my favorite thing to bake is delicious vanilla cupcakes. When I am at home for dinner, I can hear the oil sizzling on the stove because my favourite meal my mom makes me is stir fry. I just love the saucy noodles and the soft-cooked vegetables. I feel the heat of a mug of hot chocolate warming my hands in the wintertime, I add delicious whipped cream and tiny marshmallows - it tastes terrific! Finally, with my dog I feel happiness. When I am home with my dog, she makes me feel like she is a little sister to me because she makes me feel so good when I am at home. When I am at home, I let out my craziness because me and my dog wrestle together; it is fun with her soft fur and her cute little nose. When we are done, we just snuggle with each other. Whenever I come home, my dog is always waiting in the window for me and my family. She like a bodyguard to my family because when she goes in the back yard to bark at people, I think she is saying "get off my property!" These are the things that represent the meaning of home to me.
