Home - My Safe and Happy Place

My home is Canada and the beautiful safe place which I call my home every day. It is inclusive of all cultures and religions. We respect and celebrate one another. There is room for everyone to feel safe and grow. From our indigenous people who bring their unique traditions and cultures that give Canada their roots to hold our beautiful country together. My home Canada is filled with joy. We show respect to all Canadians as it is our home. My home, Canada, is very important to me because I am grateful to be living here in Canada with my parents, grandparents and close to my aunt and uncle. Some people in Canada immigrate here leaving behind their grandparents and extended family. I see joy in my home when I see my grandma who is going through cancer and recovering but does not forget to love and care for me even in her toughest times. Every place I go, I find a new memory that I can cherish as Canada is my home. Every time seeing Canada’s clear blue sky in the spring and summer, I feel the joy and excitement to see the birds fly. I feel joy seeing the beaver, geese and moose. I feel the joy seeing the different shapes of clouds and seeing the stars in the dark sky. I love Canada as my home because of its nature and its four beautiful seasons - Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. In my home, there Is also many places to explore every day. I feel safe in my home Canada and grateful to call it my home as not many children in the world have what I have. Every step I take, I feel proud to be a Canadian and call it my home.
