What home means to me

Have you ever heard some of those sayings such as, Home Sweet Home or Home is where the Heart is? Whenever I hear these, it becomes truer in my heart. If you continue reading you will get to hear why my home means so much to me! The first reason I love my home so much is because of my family. Without my family, my home is just another place. I love my family because they love me and care for me. This is my favorite part of my home. The second reason I love my home is because of my surroundings. I live on a farm. I am so very grateful for my farm. I love to stare out at miles and miles of prairie land. This is my second favorite part of my home. The third reason I love my home is because of my bedroom. When I'm in my bedroom, I'm so very happy because of the art on the walls or the cluttered desk and the smoothed back bedding. It all makes me so happy to see. This is my third favorite part of my home. The last reason I love my home is because of my pets. We have four cats and one dog. Every day when I wait for the bus, my dog waits right behind me. Then when I get off the bus, my cat runs up to me deeply wanting to be brought into the house. I love my home. There are many reasons I love my home. I am very fortunate to have the home I do.
