Just Like A Blanket. My home keeps me warm, just like a blanket. My home keeps me happy, just like a blanket. My home keeps me safe, just like a blanket. My home is open to family, just like a book. In my home, sad things have happened. These are my memories. These are the memories that rest in my home. Simple things in my home are important. My chair has been with me my whole life. My picture, was from a baby shower. My necklace, was from my grandmother who has passed. All of these things, Are in my home. My home has blankets. My home has books. My home has memories. Home is where my family loves me, Home is where I grew up to be me, Home is where I've fallen down. Home is where I’ve learned to get back up, And try again. Home is where the memories stay, I’m looking at the pictures everyday. Home is where I’ve made strange faces, Home is where I’ve been put through my paces. Everyone deserves a home, No matter who they are. Even a small home is to share, There's much to go around.
