Home Is Important To Me

Home is important to me because home makes me feel cozy, happy, calm, warm and relaxed. Even though me and my brother still fight with each other that does not mean we don't love each other. My mom and my dad make me feel safe at home. My two birds named Lime and Skye make me feel happy when they chirp. The places where I feel most at home are in the living room and the dining table. When we are eating together, we like to share about our day and when we are watching a movie. One memory that me and my family have is when we go on a vacation together and also, when we go for bike rides on the parkway in the summer. My house is not just a place to get food and water, it is where the memories are and spending time together. My favourite part is when my mom comes at night to give me a hug and a kiss to say goodnight. Sometimes she will read me a book or I will read her my book. When I am upset throughout the day or before bed, my mom gives me a hug and I feel much better after. I love to play with my birds and they make me feel happy. Home is where I feel safe.I love when me and my brother play together, especially when we are playing board games. Even if your house is small or big it doesn't matter, it's the love that's in it and the people who're inside. Home is where I belong.
