My Love of Home

She helped me through tough times during my life. On a rainy day I smelt my dog, Sadie. She jumped on me. She was a puppy so it did not hurt. I picked her up and grabbed the dog bath and the doggy shampoo and washed her. She was barking I took her out and grabbed a towel then we watched TV together in my bed. It was a really good day for me I was really happy that I made a loving memory with my dog. I also love smelling the warm scents in my house. It makes me happy when I am with all my brothers. We go on adventures together. I love meeting up with my family. One day that changed me there were fires everywhere. I woke up to a really orange sky. I was terrified. My dog started barking I told my auntie. She wouldn't look outside and she thought there was a fire in our house and I told her there was no fire, it was just outside. I took my dog to my room. I closed the curtains and put on SpongeBob. It was my dog's favorite show and it calmed me down and made me feel safe again. After a couple episodes we stopped watching it and my Auntie told us that we're not going to school. I was so excited but still very worried, but I was also very curious. So I went outside, but my Auntie told me you can't go outside you have to have a mask on. So I put on a mask and then I went outside. My dog didn't want to go outside so I put a mask on him and then he went outside with me. WOW I said it's very orange and red and I can smell the smoke through my mask. I convinced Sadie to go back inside. My Uncle came upstairs and made us pancakes. I was happy again and even my dog wanted pancakes. I told my Uncle to make dog pancakes and he put kibble in it, and she loved them.
