The Meaning of Home The meaning of home to me is that you feel safe in your home. and that your home is special to you. and that it is familiar so if I had to get something I would know where it is. Something that I smell in my home is fresh baked chocolate chip cookies coming out of the oven. I taste warm hot chocolate on my hands as I drink it by the fireplace watching a show on a raining day. I see my toys on the floor when I forget to pick them up of the ground.
