Meaning of Home

When I get home from school, I always know I’m going to have a warm welcome from my dog Frankie. My family also gives me a warm welcome, but my dog gives me a big hug and a kiss! My family helps me and encourages me too. I love my family, what about you? My parents call me a monkey because I have a tree in my front yard called the climbing tree. There is a big curve on one of the branches because it has been used a lot. I love my tree! In my back yard I have a big tree house! The tree house took 2 years to build because it is so big. And it has a triple bunk bed for me and my 2 brothers. My dad also made a tether ball pit that is so fun to play. I have a garden that we plant a lot of vegetables in. I love gardening because seeing all the vegetables grow is so fun. My family plays a lot of board games. Not too long ago we got an old game called caper from friends. In the game you must steal gems and get them to your hideout but that’s not my favorite part. My favorite part is the tools you must use to get the gems, they are so cool because they work! My mom’s cakes are the best! Every holiday or birthday she makes specialized cakes, and they are always good. One time she made a cake for me, and it was a barbie doll, and the cake was the dress. My family always gets a real Christmas tree because we like the smell of fresh pine. My mom prefers a fat tree so we can fit all our ornaments. My mom says that it looks like this year’s tree ate last year’s tree! I love my home so much, what about you?
