What home means to me

A home is where you are found. A home is where there are ups and downs, wins and losses and love all around. A home isn’t a place with a roof over your head. Home is a place where everything is said. Home is a thing you feel. Home is where wounds heal. A home isn't a place. Home is a thing, a feeling. Home is where you can feel safe. Home is knowing someone cares and is always there. Home is where you can do whatever you please. Home is where you can feel at ease. Home is where there are friends and family. Home is where love is never empty. Home is where you’re never lost. Home is where there is never a cost. So I say this to you, home isn’t a place or a space. Home is where kindness never ends and you know there will always be family and friends. Home is love. Home is free. Home is for you and me.
