Meaning of Home

Home is a place where you feel calm, stable, and loved. A stable, secure home is very crucial for good mental and physical health, as moving is very tiring and potentially harmful for your body. Home provides a place to shelter from the elements, to relax on a tiring day. Home is where you make memories, good ones and bad ones. It is a place where you can study for an exam, and where you can play, be happy, and enjoy yourself. When you grow up and possibly have a home of your own, you might look back at your childhood home. Home might also be a place where you feel stressed, scared, and pressured. But, home is also a place where you can cope with these difficult emotions and feel happy again. Home is a safe bubble in today’s society, a place where you can hide when you feel insecure. Some people might not have a safe place to shelter, a stable home, but Habitat for Humanity can help with that. By building affordable and decent homes, more people can have homes of their own. By submitting these writing entries, they help to donate money for more houses. With Habitat for Humanity, we can change that ⅛ ratio to a 0/0
