What Home Means to Me

Home and house, they are two different things. Home is a place where my family lives, loves, and takes care of me. A place where you feel BELONGING. A house is different. It is a place with walls and stuff and not much comfort. You can still be grateful for it and the stuff and toys it holds but they sure aren’t the same thing. To me home is a place of love. It’s a sense of belonging, a hug from my parents when I am sad. Love is also a book to read in my room. Love is kind people - my family to talk to about things that make me feel sad. Love is also when people love you back and you feel loved by others. And love is playing with my sisters. Home is a place of Kindness. Kindness in my home is helping my sister if she falls down the stairs. Kindness is treating others as you would like to be treated. And kindness is not being jealous of what someone else has. This is what home means to me. It is very special and I will always feel secure there and never want to leave.
