The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home My meaning of home is comfort. My grandparents, warmth of a warm fire, the love of a cared loved one, going to the fair with a family member. My home could even be a family tradition. Like having a New Year’s party, pizza Friday, Christmas, or a fun and exciting experience, like going to the dog park with your dog to throw the ball. My home is the presents from my grandparents and all the presents under the tree that I think about when I lie in bed in Christmas Eve. My home is the fun in that one friend, the kindness of every smile. My home is the sound of my mom’s voice, and every time my grandparents tell me to do my laundry. The home I know is safe. My home is the comfort of my bed, my warm sheets. My home is the love of my grandparents. Home is where I am comforted by my loved ones. Home is the passion I have for basketball. My home is when I would sit next to the fireplace on a rainy night. My home is my friends and family.
