What Home Means to Me

Home isn’t just a key, bought by a price. Home isn’t just shelter, bought to stay alive. Home is a place to entrap memories, all lost to time. Home is a place to give freedom, no judgment or need to hide. Home is where you let go of your mask, one only outsiders have seen. Home is where your mind is set free from how you speak, walk, or seem. Home is where you learn to grow, to not care of others’ words. Home is where you're filled with love, support and reminded of your worth. So here’s a poem made for homes, one made with love, and my meaning of home.
