Home

There is a difference between a house and a home. A house is where you’re protected from storm. A home, however, is much, much, different. A home is where you feel pleasant. A house is where you’re protected, a home is where you’re connected. A house protects you from wind and rain, a home is where you feel no pain. A house is where you’re fed and warm, a home is where you can transform. A house serves the same purpose as an emergency cellar, a home is where you’re accepted, regardless of your race, who you love, or identified gender. A house protects you from above, a home is where you feel loved. A house protects you from rubble, a home is where you snuggle. A house is where there’s a bed and a toilet, a home is where you feel comfort. Over the years your house may have passed but love in your home will always last.
