Home

Home is not a regular average house built with bricks or stones and concrete. It could not ever be the same as the inside. Instead, you make your house a home. Have you ever heard the quote “it’s not about what’s on the outside it’s about what’s on the inside?” I wonder, isn’t that quote the same as a home? For me that is exactly what I mean about the difference between a house and a home. Even though some people do not own a house they still have a special spot to call home. Home might be an apartment or a shelter. Many people can't afford a luxurious house because everyone has their limit and budget. It’s extremely exciting to realize that you’re not alone. For me home smells like a fresh homemade baked pizza coming straight out of the oven made by my mom. My siblings and I all love our mom’s pizza. It is delicious. Home sounds like my little brother yelling in anger because he does not have what he wants. We always figure things out as a family and bring peace in the end. Home feels warm, soft, comfy and no longer needing to be embarrassed about my actions because my family is there for me. Tons of things happen at home for everyone even on special occasions or celebrating celebrations! Even though sometimes I don’t get along with my family, I rely on the safety of my home. Home is spending time with the people you love, and I hope you can do it too! Spread the words “the meaning of home.” You can encourage people and tell them they are not alone. Home is there for you on the hardest times. I love my family and I love home. They both mean a lot for me. I am thankful for the home that I live in today! The same words for tomorrow and the day after and beyond. Learn to appreciate what your family does for you and be thankful that you have a home.
