My Meaning of Home

My home makes me feel safe because my cat is always around me. My home smells like my mom and my dad making me my favourite rice and salad. My home makes me happy because my family is always around me. My home sounds like me and my family watching a hockey game and eating popcorn. My home sounds like my cat meowing for food and when I come home. My home smells like my dad cooking steak on the weekend, in the summer, when my friends are over. My home looks like my dad running on the treadmill at 5:00 pm. My home tastes like my mom’s soft burritos on a weekend at lunch. My home feels relaxing when I come home from school. My home sounds like my mom and dad decorating my home on Christmas day as a tradition. My home is the sound of my family singing me “Happy Birthday”. My home sounds like me and my friends yelling “Happy New Year!”, at 12:00 o’clock. My home looks like my parent’s friends walking in the door on Christmas. At my home I feel my cat’s cold paws on my chest when I am falling to sleep. My home sounds like me walking my cat in the back yard and the crunching of my cat’s paws on the snow.
