My wonderful world: Home

A house is one thing. Your family is another. When you combine a house with family, it becomes a home. A home has people you know and love inside and has a different meaning for everyone. Home to means my family. Everyday when I go home from school I feel excited to go to a place with my people and people who love me and appreciate me. My home is a place where I can be myself and do the things I love to do. My family are people who will always be there for me even in my hardest times. My family is like a railing, with someone there to catch me every time I fall. My family is like a cozy blanket on the coldest of nights to wrap me up in warmth. My family is like a diary, there is always someone who I tell my worries and concerns to. I can tell there is always love between me and my family, even when we disagree. Even when I get mad at my family, I don’t stay mad at them for long because I think about all the good times we have together and that always makes me smile. My family will always be there to teach me about real life problems. My home is like a book and my family is like all the wonderful characters in the book. My family is like all the kind, lovingful words inside a card that make people feel special. My family means a lot to me, so much that I would run all the way around the world and back. My home without my family would become a house. It is truly extraordinary what a family can do to a structure that’s made of wood, bricks and steel.
