Home Is My Safe Place

Today was a tiring day. At school, we had tests in every class. Pleople were picking on me and my bully was stealing from me, as usual. So, on my way home, I try to cheer myself up by thinking about reading stories of awesome dragons and wizards. I got home and before I knew it, my mom greeted me by the front door and gave me a big hug. She asked .how was school today? I said it was good. I had been too scared to tell her about my day and my bully. She gave me dinner with a smile. My favorite! Pizza! I finished dinner and went to my room to read. I started a new fiction novel. It's about a courageous boy going on an adventure and trying to get home. Just like me.
