What Home Means to Me

Well home is… my place where magical memories are made, like first steps and family game nights filled with fun and tons of laughter! Home is a safe place with a family that cares and loves you so much, they will not trade you for the world! Home is definitely my favorite place in the whole world because… it's a place that has a bunch of memories that we made, and when we look back on those memories, we are happy with, or even laugh at ourselves and remember the little things that made us realize that life is not always going to be a fairytale. Even on our darkest days or when you face the dark times, your family and friends will be there for you, to help face the dark and make it bright again! Home is way more than a place where you sleep on a nice soft bed and a fluffy pillow to rest your head, it’s a place to be yourself. Home can be anywhere, not just your own house. For example, the place where I do Taekwondo is a place I call home because not only do I go there a lot, it is my place to be myself. Home is a place to be free, and a place that as you walk in the door your worries just disappear. You're free to express yourself in fun and unique ways! When you move to a new house you feel as if you are leaving it all behind, or I did when I moved. I was three when I moved, but I still remember that feeling. When you move, you’re starting a new chapter in your life. So remember… “There's no place like home.” So, wherever you are, home will always be in your heart!
