What Does Home Mean?

Home is not just a shelter; home is filled with so much more. It is the smell of freshly baked cookies when you walk through the kitchen door. Home is filled with a lot of history and sometimes it can be a mystery. Sometimes you will be sad or have worries but that’s not bad. Home is a safe place, your mother puts freshly picked lilies in her pink vase. Sometimes emotions are high and you don’t know why. And you can get mad and make your sibling sad. Sometimes, both of you will feel bad. When I’m at home I feel support, even if I go to a big resort. Alas it’s finally the end of our day. I go upstairs, flop on my bed and shout “hooray” I close my eyes and let my head wander into the wonders of the world hearing my parents saying “I love you”
