What Home Means to Me

To me, home means feeling safe and being with my family. Home is coziness, warmth, sustenance, a bed, and my soft friend Donkey. But home doesn’t need to be a building. I feel at home on the land, where I can hear seagulls, climb trees, see the ocean, and feel cold fresh air. Home is the possibility of snow. Home can also mean happiness, joy, kindness, and peace. It is warm drinks, community, friends, and feeling like you belong. To me, home is love and togetherness.
