What My Home Means to Me

My home is where I feel loved and blessed. Being with my family makes me feel refreshed, even when I'm sad or glad, I'm with the ones I love like mad. To me, home means I am cherished. Home is where we can be completely ourselves. With a warm hug, all fear dispels. It is where we are kept safe from rain above. Where planes fly free, like a dove. To me, home means rest. It's where I have hope, and can bring my mom to tears with a joke. Home is where I’m present, Even when life isn't always pleasant. To me, home means Family. I love my home with all my heart, Even though moments fall apart. I cherish my home with all my soul, Like when the best team scores the winning goal. To me, home means I am accepted. Shelter the castle of Love. Relatives a mansion of chaos. Family, a palace of Peace. Home, a place of Grace. To me, home means Joy. I’m so grateful for Habitat for Humanity Especially in this world of insanity For encouraging people to give, Helping to provide a home for people to live.
