Meaning of Home

Home is not just a house with walls and a roof It is a place where my family has fun and goof Sure there are many things that are not allowed But home is where I feel safe and sound. Home is where we make the best memories Fun and memorable is what it means Home has many rooms my family adores It makes us want to stay indoors Home has the kitchen where my dad plans the next meal His delicious soup is what I think will appeal Home has my mom who works hard to take care of us She always has time to share kindness and love Home has my brother who makes the funniest jokes The hilarious jokes make us all choke Home has my sister’s room where my sister does crochet Maybe I can learn how to do it too someday. Home has my room where I paint and draw My drawings fill people in complete awe Home is the place where I belong It is the place I wish to stay all day long Home is one of the many things I am grateful for I can’t adore anything more
