The Feelings That I Get When I Reach Home

Every day when I reach home I always feel excited, happy, thankful, sad, safe, loved and cared for. Home is always my happy place, no matter where I am, I always wish to be home. And I like having these feelings except the sad feeling because I miss my friends which makes me sad. But otherwise I love feeling excited, happy and thankful, loved and cared for and safe. That's because they all make me joyful and feel secure. The excitement makes me joyful and I always feel excited to see my family and to relax. I feel happy because then I feel free and now I can goof off all I want and be at home. And then there's thankfulness. I am thankful when I reach home because I am thankful that I made it home alive and that I don't need to stress out about school work after school. When I am home I feel safe because no one can come in except for my family and that I don't need to be afraid because the house is secure. Whenever I open my door to my home I always feel loved and cared for because I always know that my loving family is always waiting for me and that they care a lot about me and they always treasure me. I wish that every single child would feel this way when they reach their home.
