Under My Roof

In my home you’ll hear sounds of joy of me and my brother playing and the cute little laugh of my brother being tickled. In my home you’ll hear laughter from family joking around or my family chuckle while enjoying a funny movie on a stormy winter night. At the dinner table you’ll taste chicken curry that’s been made by mom and dad working together to serve us tasty food at the table. In my home I feel the soft warm hugs and that nice calming cheerful talk full of kindness and encouragement. In my home you’ll see my parents helping me out with hard homework and encouraging me to get it done, so I can go play with friends and my brother. Be grateful for what you have, think about the families and people without houses, and stand with Habitat for Humanity.
