My Home

A home isn't just a structure shaped as a box. It's a place where you can play games with family and friends. But Sadly, for some a home is not like mine; it may be something not as comfortable or full of joy.I always feel really safe, my pillows are fuzzy and warm. The food my mom makes is a masterpiece. Every night my stomach goes to bed full. My dad works really hard for us and keeps our stomachs full. The warm fireplace in my kitchen, and my cat likes to hug me when I get home from school. When I first moved to Castlegar we were houseless, not homeless. We had a house; it was our trailer and our friends and family's houses. Home is beside my parents, rabbits, and sister My tears that cover my pillows like glitter The love that guides me on my path The melodic sound of my family’s laugh Home is my triumphs that I share The swing of my friend’s hands as a pair.
