This is Home to me Home sounds like birthday parties, especially in winter. The popping of soda cans makes it feel like home. Home smells like bacon when my mom cooks. The bacon sizzles in the pan. Home feels like love and joy that fills the air. When my mom and dad quietly say, ‘good night’. Home is to me when my mom makes homemade pizza. It tastes like cheese stretching from your mouth. The smell wafting throughout the house. Home looks like my brother and me playing soccer in the basement while mom is in the kitchen. This is home to me. -David
