Home: The Feeling

Home is a feeling. A feeling where above you is a ceiling. It has all your favorite foods. And different types of moods. The feelings that are shared with our family. Where they can change rapidly. It is a home, not a house. Where we speak a different language, maybe even with a little mouse. We dream big here. But there could be many things to fear. Like a bug. Which you would not love to hug. This place is made for love. The things here compared to the outside, are up and above. I will eat my pizza on a cozy couch. I might even get hurt and say “Ouch!”. When I go out to travel, I miss home. While outside, I think about it as I roam. But in a few days or hours, we always come back. Then we breathe in the home air and put our shoes on the shoe rack. I will pick up my cricket bat and play rough. I will probably break some stuff. I realize how bad it must be in the freezing weather for people with no home. So I thank god about this place, a place which is not just a dome. Eventually, we go to bed. I will say goodnight and rest my head.
