What home means to me

Home is my place of love and laughter. I love my home. It is my sanctuary where I can be safe, and it’s my happy place where I can rest and recharge my mind and my body. Home is where my family is with whom I can confide in and trust that they will be there for me. Even if I have a terrible day, I can count on coming home to be comforted. My brothers, whom I care for and who in turn care for me, are there. My parents are there to support and love me no matter what. And how can I forget my rabbit who loves me unconditionally. My home is not my house, but it is wherever my family rests. My home protects me from everything unwanted outside its walls. My home means everything to me, more than words can say. It is a welcoming sight to my eyes. Even without my sight, I will always know my home in my heart. Even in an unfamiliar territory or a country, I will always have a home there as long as I have my family. Whether I am young or old, my home will always be there to comfort me. At home, I am not criticized or be told what I’ve done wrong. My home is where my family listens to me. It’s where we celebrate the good things and work through problems. My home holds my room, full of my treasures and everything that is important to me. Now and forever, home is where I go to be with my family and that will never change.
