My Home is a Memory

My home is a place I can go. I can see birds in the wind and feel love and safety when I am home. I smell the chocolate chip cookies in the oven. I taste the hot chocolate made for me and my sister, Dylan. My home is a safe place. I am loved and I am special. I am with my family. I touch my couch and see my family in front of me. I can see love all around my home. It is a place I love. This is my home, a place I will go no matter what. I love my mom, dad, sister, and brother and don't forget the little ones. I see both of my homes, mom's and dad's. I see my siblings and we play until dawn. We go and watch some shows on the couch. My family is what is special to me in my home. I see the night and we go to sleep. Sometimes we have sleepovers in my room as a fun time, so we can spend time together in the morning. My mom makes us breakfast. The best part of it all is my favorite one is bagels. I go outside to play, I see my home, my special place. My home is a place I can go when it's safe with my family, when it's cold, we have hot cocoa and have lots of treats. This is me and my family's home where we will stay until that day we have to move and that home will always be my home. I will never forget those memories we had in that house. This house will always be my house, this home is like a memory. That's my home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making this contest.
