What Home Means to Me

Home isn't just 4 walls and a roof, home is full of love, joy, and laughter. Home to me is a safe environment where my family and I eat delicious food and drinks. Home is where we all snuggle and watch comedy movies with popcorn. Home is me running up to my dad and hugging him when he comes home from work, or when I wake up and see my mom making special hot chocolate for just me and her to enjoy. Soon enough, siblings came into my life. They’ve changed my life so much, in such a good way. When I’m at home, I feel very comfortable knowing that I can trust both of my parents. Home is where we learn lessons and remember heartwarming memories . Home is where we celebrate memorable holidays, all together as a family. Feeling at home doesn't actually need to be at your house, I could be camping with my family and still feel at home. Thank you, Habitat for humanity, for giving this opportunity for me and my classmates. Hoping that us as a class can help people around all of Canada!
