The Meaning of Home

When I come home, the power of love smoothly hits my face and makes it warm, I also smell something delicious every day. When I go on a trip to my grandma and grandpa’s house, I get excited and when we arrive, I see my grandma and grandpa waiting for me to come and say hello, after I say hello, I get happy when I see my grandpa because when I chat with him on my iPad I ask him lots of questions and he answers almost all of them, then my grandma gives me some cookies. When I leave, I feel sad, but my dad gets even more sad because that was his childhood home, but he gets over it quick. And that's not only him because when I leave somewhere I really like then I get sad a lot. But when I come back home, I’m kind of happy because I get to play with my Nintendo, and I also let my brother play with me too. What I really like about my home is that it is safe because when I sleep and if there is a storm, the roof over my home keeps me safe. I think that everyone should have a home from Habitat for Humanity even though some people are poor, they still deserve some food and water and especially a home.
